guys, finally my warranty for my s3 finish, and i can finally use custom rom, what is the fastest rom out there? i dont mind pure android experience or samsung rom, just want the best and fastest rom out there.. anybody care to share with me and any links for guide to install it? thanks
*
You ask like that u will get all kinds of answers.
There really isn't a fastest rom.

They are very similar to each other in terms of performance and battery life. No rom is faster than another rom by a large margin.

Samsung ROMs, you get all the stock features. All hardware works. With lots of additional customization. FYI, hdmi out don't and never work on aosp ROMs.

Aosp ROMs looks more elegant, and refreshing if you are bored with Samsung ones. They offer lots of features. But they are usually not bug free, especially if u are using the latest android version that is still under development. They are the most stable at the end of development.

I'm an aosp rom person. But I can see they are getting worst. 4.3 aosp ROMs imo are less stable than 4.2. Now that 4.4 is announced, most devs are going to just slap a 'stable' tag on their last nightly and proceed to develop for 4.4. No matter how people argue that 4.3 Is stable, 4.2 has even less issue.

greenify (paid), wanam xposed, removing all samsung apps and replacing with google apps e.g calender, removing bloatware which i will never use such as chat on, off access my location (only on if want to use), and i forgot a few things.

i think, greenify is the most of the things. i greenify 95 apps + system.

Not sure is LCD or software problem but you can try to go to recovery mode to try to wipe cache or factory reset but remember to backup..

Yesterday brought BUFF Ultimate Shock Absorption Screen Protector that claim to protect smartphone screen. They use few hammer, cups and brick to testify the hardness of the protector and seems convincing. Anyway it's only cost RM28 and i think it's worth it.. rclxms.gif icon_rolleyes.gif laugh.gif nod.gif

If really protecting my S3 is away from screen breaking.. rclxms.gif
