Technical weird xbox 360 graphics display on pc monitor

hey guys. i have my xbox 360 connected to a pc monitor via a hdmi cable. the thing is, i think the display is more like 720p instead of 1080p. when i played ninja gaiden 3 just now, it felt like the graphics had been compressed from 1080p to 720p.
is that normal? do i need a hdtv to experience better display? my pc monitor does support 1080p resolution. it's an aoc i2369vm. This post has been edited by 4sell: Oct 3 2013, 04:21 AM |

most of xbox360 games are 720p and upscales to 1080p
