went to Arizona. there are 2 Lego stores within 1hr drive from each other. visited both, bought some items from both.
store 1 tax rate 7.8%
store 2 tax rate 9.13%

This is really don't understand, different tax rate in the same state?

Different stores have different discount for different items.. I guess the advantage to buy from Lego Store is the VIP points and the hard to find huge sets.

There is a popup tent set-up in Miniland where you'll find discounted items.
Some of the stuff are not actually marked for discount so you may actually have to ask the cashier or staff to know if there are discounts.   Some examples.. Halloween accessory pack is listed as RM 59.95 in The Big Shop but its RM 29.90 in the tent shop. But if I'm not wrong the prices in all of the cashier database should be centralised so you could just buy it from the Big Shop and get the offer price.
