 WTA-Camera battery will affect the camera itself

Guys, if i left my camera for long time, where i usually took it out only for some occasion like gathering,holiday,trip etc. otherwise i will left it untouch at my drawer . So , will my camera spoil in short term? is it ok to put it untouch for long time? icon_question.gif

A no no to keep battery in the camera when not in use.. if left in there for too long esp LiPo battery - it will discharge below its safe margin and damage/ cannot be charge again...

It can also cause corrosion to the contacts in some cases.

If you are not the technical savy... Best and easy way is charge up the battery full, and store them away... there are procedures to put the battery to sleep but a tedious process for most of us and you need the right equipment.
