Whether the board itself is good or not, we not too sure since no white rats here yet.

Back at the price, yar, something that retail (which normally will even be cheaper if you get the chance to nego, not to mention rebrander like Armageddon sure get an even cheaper rate) at 499 RMB (RM260 by direct conversion or RM285 by taobao agent's rate) in China but cost hell lot more for a rebrand in Malaysia. It doesn't sound like a good deal for me.

No worries, browse more and search more for the board best suited you before u decide, but for armageddon brand (Sonic Gear Group), I will just avoid that as much as possible.

i let u in on what i used to have, for reference sake
1. ducky shine (the 1st gen) mx brown
2. hpe 87 mx blue
3, keycool 87 mx red (white PBT)

Mechanical keyboard means the input mechanism is by mechanical means, normally have springs.

Membrane keyboard is keyboard which using rubber dome most of the time, even scissor switch found on your laptop is membrane keyboard.

u find very little talk about SS 6gv2 because of it's bigass Enter key and small right shift and 1x "\" key.
in other words, it's not standard layout size.
anything that is non-standard layout size, will receive from very little to no attention at all.
main reason for that is, it'll be extremely hard on you to find a replacement or aftermarket keycaps should the keycaps starts to shine and look ugly.

I'd start with heavy-arm.com in Subang for a good gauge of prices.

Since MKBs are quite expensive, you'd see a lot of specialized units and brands. I'd say about RM250 is the lowest range (Rosewill) you can go for a full sized. Banggood has a few Keycools going for about that much and free international shipping.

I recommend that you go to a shop and try out the buttons. Different keys have different switch and feels so if you're gonna invest so much (relatively) you'd better make sure you like the feels first.

non-standard layout size = not so recommended by the senior veterans here
it is still a mechanical keyboard just that we don't recommend non-standard as you will be in a world of regret when u want to replace them keycaps.

And before you bloody say that you'll bloody buy the keyboard and you'll only use that particular set of keys for the time being, listen to an addict's confession here: It only took two weeks to realize that you'd wanna change the keycaps. Two weeks. Then you realize that you kinda need a TKL version because you don't use the numpad much... then you saw the Poker II and feel that even the arrow keys are under utilized... and then you hear about this legendary thing called the HHKB.

All this while you start reading about PBT and ABS and POM, and maybe you start thinking that those particular switch type isn't really that optimal...

Maybe you start thinking about Dvorak layout and how it'll increase your WPM.

Before you know it, you're like a junkie; spending all his money on keyboards and typing away on forums/message boards and preaching the Good News™.

If you use both numpad and cursor keys but not at the same time, there are always CM QF TK and PLUM 96 fodat.
