I always maintain "Professional Decorum" in office man... even phone themes change when go into office. Don't want these people to know how un-serious I am outside or they will stop being scared of me. One of the girls already found out I play Dota because I use my old gaming mouse in the office so I dun wanna take more risk. NO flashy stuff.

Want act professional? Go for Topre then.

My stupid Gigabyte mouse already kena "Eh, feels different la. So solid and feels so nice." Please aunties, hands off my PERSONAL gear.
*
Last gen's Steelseries mice actually quite professional looks, nowadays more gaming looks.

I remember seeing somewhere that you can actually dye your own keycaps... curious....
*
Chinamen like to do that.

But also, you can't simply dye abs keycaps, normally ppl use white pbt.

I can't find white backlit for Plum 87. Sigh... sad.gif Axis means switch right?
*
Plum87 only red color backlit.

If want white I think should buy non-backlit version and mod it yourself.

meaning plum 87's pcb is led mod ready?

i am happy with my keycool 87 liao but too bad there's no led mod ready on the pcb. have to dive deeper into poison engineering.
*
Yup, plum87 is led ready. If it is similar to that on plum96 (which the holes are not presoldered), then it will be easier to mod than poker 2 since you simply need to instal the led, solder it on pcb and cut the excessive legs.

But I not too sure if you need to do some adjustment on the resistors if you were to install 3v LEDs.

white LED cherry mx clear got?

Human10 please help.  sad.gif

Don't have. Clear switch board very limited, almost no clear switch board with LED (by default or for mass market). May be you should ask CT and see if can order a Shine3 with clear switch.

Alternatively, may be you can get some of the following keyboards, some of them may be LED ready.

didn't know there's 2 more clips at the top corner
[attachmentid=3672281]

but daheck...the led lubang is tutuped??  vmad.gif
[attachmentid=3672282]

must desolder them lubang to put in led? cry.gif
*
Yar, KBC/Vortex made boards like to tutup the holes one.

BTW, becareful when desoldering the presoldered copper plate, very easy to detach the copper plates if not done using suitable tools.

Higher cost to leave them unsoldered then to just solder everything in one go.
*
Not too sure on how does the wave soldering process is done.

But Plum can make their PCB with LED holes not soldered, so I guess it isn't too hard to do so?

yeah, i got myself a soldering station (not hakko) which i used to desolder my keycool and all 104 switch from a Das keyboard with the aid from a solder pump sucker. but i saw that some of the solder just cover the lubang with very little bump. i was wondering if wick would be more suitable here but i know if it's not used properly, might cause damage to the pcb itself...
*
Yup, the holes for LED are too small and really hard to cleanse off all the solder.

May be a proper desoldering iron will work better.

In my case, I had done some irreversible mistake on the PCB. The sucking of soldering gun actually recoiled and pushed the copper plate and a few of it detached off the PCB. I had then given up on trying to keep the damage minimum...

Theoretically, all can mod LED, but some is easy and some is real hard.

If you want got effect want, then wait no more, Ducky Shine 3 the best for you.

Ya I know, like those keyboard with LED but the LED color is not the one I like, I can ask him mod.
Just see whether can add LED effect or not brows.gif

The most effect one is i think is Shine 3 liao, but that one is too over for me.
For backlit keycap, got a lot to choose if I want to change the keycap?
Just asking, is Corsair K95 using standard keycap?
*
Effect can't mod.

Backlit keycaps are quite limited and inferior by nature. So most of us here will opt for either white thin pbt (so the backlit can shine through) or thick black/beige/white PBT so that the backlit will be blocked but instead being reflected through the plate, resulting an sleek underglow effect.

For K95, it is non-standard for spacebar and modifiers, and you will appreciate our suggestions in future for stay away from it when you plan to change the keycaps next time.

any huge keyboard (normally huge keyboards are those gaming one) sweat.gif with standard keycap one?

Storm Trigger?

The reason I put K95 in my list because I want that aluminium body, and extended size due to the macro keys cry.gif
*
If you want a keyboard huge, you can get a fullsize filco (non-backlit though) and later get an aftermart SS7G style wrist rest for it from taobao.

AceCombat, get Shine 3 and get this:

http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=2013.1...=&cm_id=&pm_id=

Get a XXL mouse pad for extended size illusion if that doesn't enough. Or maybe a dedicated media controller for your PC, put next to your kb? brows.gif
*
Get a dedicated numpad to be placed separately next to his fullsize 104 keyboard so he can use type numbers with both hands, LOL.

if non backlit, which TKL kb worth to buy?

Want backlit probably shine3. If not available, try the code by wasd.
http://www.wasdkeyboards.com/index.php/cod...l-keyboard.html

If non-bl easy settle, filco the safest and best choice.
