It's more about the gathering thing. If just wanna buy I would PM already tongue.gif
Hmmm.... you're making me doubt my sanity. RM 45 is still kinda steep when you can get it at about RM20 in taobao. I'd rather save that money than go for instant gratification #accountant
On the other hand, will any non-banana help confirm if this TKL is using genuine Cherry MX black switches?

Then it must be imitation switches to be so cheap. I might consider it as my FPS keyboard.

I believe getting an Alps switch board at around the same price may be wiser.

But if you are the type of DIY person, you can actually get it and also some 2nd hand dummy boards to salvage the switch and get yourself a Cherry MX board by combining both.

Yeah, I'm very much aware of the similarities with the Rapoo v7 which comes with yellow (!) switches.

What's the difference between Cherry and Alps? Got any links so that I can compare prices?

And why would I want to salvage just the switches? Is there a problem with the keyboard in general that makes it unsuitable?

Bro, check out the very first post in thread. There's lots of good recommendations there for every price point. As far as I remember - all the models there should still be for sale.

Generally, mechanical switches out there are either of below (and also topre),
Genuine Cherry (MX and ML, but ML NFC)
Cherry Clone Switch
Alps (some ppl say it is actually clone of old switch, but since the old one is long gone, we just generalize all as Alps)

The first 2 is similar in term of specs, shapes, designs and so on. The different is just durability and reliability.

Thats why, you can swap out fake switch and replace with genuine Cherry switch.

Since it is so hard to find one.

I try to change my mind. Any TKL keyboard without LED with standard layout. Ignore the price first. I try to consider. :'(

Not sure, but ducky and leopold do sell some alps keyboards at cheap price.

Few days ago, someone even posted one China brand alps that cost only 99RMB.

You want it locally available right? If so then we only recommend CM QF Rapid for your budget.

If you consider import from taobao, then add in keycool, plum, hpe and bla bla bla, hell lots more.

Not worth the hassle.

Like we say, you simply need to bank in the money to the taobao agent and they will in charge of the purchasing and shipping to your door step. If you passed through other's hand, more shipping price will be incurred.

We can spoonfeed you with the link of seller if you not sure where to find,
PBT白色版青轴
¥349(+12 for shipping)
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10....&id=13489990164
You may even get some keycaps together with the keyboard as keycaps will be very light and small, so doesn't take up much space or weight (since you are preparing 2kg of postage, and ship only a 87tkl, there will be a little space/weight left to bought extra keycaps).
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10....&id=15487989187

The worse rate should be around 1RM to 1.75RMB. Shipping is 2kg. Total should be under RM240 shipped.
