It seems ur galaxy watercooling radiator is just hanging off the back of ur case. maybe you should try to attach it more securely?

Another new 3D Aurora owner here. Just bought it couple of days ago due to my previous mid tower can't dispatch the heat fast enough after some hardware upgrade. Bought it at RM600. Worth the money I'd say. nod.gif

Just want to ask all the casing experts out there, which model of the gigabyte casing have the design of putting the PSU at the bottom like the CM690 ?

@hian
Nice case, really a good selection and it has lots of potential to accommodate more stuffs ...

@Bigblock
after the case being mod BTX style, the PSU is at bottom or top ?

@justin78
Go to Gigabyte website and look through case section ... you should find your answer there.

Thanks Doom & aLWAYStHEsAME! smile.gif I've just replaced the rear exhaust fans with CM red led unit. Looks better to me now. What's the price like for this casing in KL? The unit I bought has been on shelves for quite some times, and it's the only unit available in the shop. The spacious internal is what attracted me, easy to work on it when time comes and silent fans have enough time to dispatch the heat before it's build up inside the case. Now the temperature after OC stays about the same as to previous stock speed. thumbup.gif Should have considered a full tower case since the 1st day... doh.gif

Anyway, took a picture of it with the red led exhaust fans running (without camera flash). Now the exhaust side looks hot. biggrin.gif

what's the difference between it's youger brother 3D Aurora... instead of front panel, I think the size is quite the same right?

Just noticed that modernopc.com is selling at RM640. Still worth the money, I think, a better case for a better system. Would be excellent if it come with top exhaust fan.

After some observation, max CPU idle temperature is at around 38c during day time in my non air-cond room (Q6600 OC @ 3.3 with 1.42V), which I reckon is pretty good enough. smile.gif

Yerp... and I noticed that 3D Aurora 570 got 10% more space than 3D Aurora... Correct me if I'm wrong

The result is pretty good right, but I don't know if used other casing got the same result or not.. ermm hmm.gif .. what is the normal temperature of Q6600?

@doom
Sifu the PSU will be at the bottom...
It splits in 2 pieces...so it looks like this...so all you have to do is flip the 2*120mm fan piece inverce the ori position...

Really... but I saw at modernopc.com the dimension is difference, just the height and the width is the same

aurora = 205 x 522 x 510 mm (W x H x D)
aurora 570 = 205 x 522 x 570 mm (W x H x D)

btw nice mod u got biggrin.gif
