Go to the FS. Get their biggest plastic bag(double layer). Use ur hands to lure the fish into the plastic bag. Tie and put the bag in a big pail. 1hrs without O2 is OK.

btw. Jardini can put in 4' x 1.5' since when full grown it's smaller than Asian Aro.

Green is the most underappreciated species.
So far I've seen 2 grown up "Snow White" Green. Entire fish is shinny white color.
Onlything I dont like about the average/ normal Green is that the horseshoe pattern on the scales and the 2tone tail when grown.

Swim bottom is OK. If always on the top(not swimming) then worry swim bladder problem.When u bring ur JAR back, use the filter power head to create strong undercurrent.

Snakeskin/Batik prints are nice on Green but not strong horseshoe marking.

Young fish like to swim against the undercurrent. Good exercise for them. Like us running on threadmill.
As for Stone's new JAR, it's also to prevent his ARO fr staying at the bottom all the time.

I bought becos of the long pectoral fins/ big finages and some 5thlevel development.

I only keep it in a normal 4'x2' with OH filter.

To be honest, feeding/ maintaining a RTG is same with any other ARO.
Only painful is the initial outlay. The intrinsic value of the fish will always remain.(u wont lose $ unless it kaput) I always advise ARO enthusiast, RTG is a good entry level.

But IRENE, can bodek the boss and said u r fr AROWANA CLUB and will post the footage in the internet. Nothing worth mention there now. Last year there was a beautiful "Chili Red" 8" @ RM8888. I also seen White Gold XBlack & TongYan both tagged @ RM10,000.

When u collect ur JAR fr Afad, throw in some food (ie.crickets) If the fish dont eat, it might have some problems. Dont take.

No offence bro., speedlight or no light, I'ld be damm worried. Even juvenile, I expect some shine on a RTG. (atleast upto 4thlevel) The color is too pale and uniform for a RTG. 4thlevel onwards should be darker tone/ without shine.
And RTG's tail should be rounder. correct me if I'm wrong....

How much and did u get it fr a reputable FS?

Cost price for normal RTG fr Farm to FS is RM700+
