DE not cost by shrimp BUT genetic & water condition plus obesity
1 piece of shrimp does not make your water dirty
that's y u have to keep a few feeder fish with your aro to eat all the waste food if your aro don't want to eat em

c0c0
i think better get fresh shrimps than dried one
coz the dried one got many artificial in it
but fresh shrimp got lot of protein & vitamin to your aro
if you can find really fresh shrimps, it's better
like me, i bought fresh shrimps from Pasar Borong to make sure it's freshness...

my new diet of my JAR: cockroaches & lizard rclxm9.gif
15 inches long now n the red mark getting brighter thumbup.gif
will update pic soon

DE not happened in 1,2 weeks
it took months to defect
check your water & ammonia condition
most of the aros sifus recommended WC once in 2 weeks

ok guys, DE this is wat i know.

DE happens when overfeeding, why ? cause when you feed your aro too much it excersise its muscle. and this muscle is located behind the eye. everytime it workout it makes it bigger. that why cause the eye to pop out. fatty food also is another thing. maybe fatty cause the muscle to have fats clogging at there. about feeding with prawns is just a matter of habit. when the muscle starts to built and the aro keep looking down it just makes the process faster.

things to advoid:
Overfeeding
Feeding with chunky food/too big for this mouth
