Can cherry shrimp live in small aquarium together with other fish? Currently have banama shrimp, 4 guppies, 2 fluorescent fish, one algae.eater.and 2 molly fish. Have one plant on a wood, 2 decoration. Base using stones.

i am new to the shrimp scene but 3 rcs out of 10 had died on me

is tap water suitable for shrimp? what i am doing wrong!?

nope, i just simply float the packaging on top of the water for 15 minutes. and they only died after 3 days. all 3 died on the same day. others are surviving though.

update: bought sera aquatan water conditioner, seems no difference. the neon tetras are still swimming around, the shrimps are still hiding >.> only 1 would always come out and 3 more would occasionally come out but the other 4 will always hide inside the driftwood. i did see 3 exoskeleton though, maybe the 3 died after molting? (i had 10 rcs)

Hi, my shrimp tank is experiencing hair algae outbreak. Was told that Siamese algae eater (sae) would help but unfortunately the one that I got was useless. It’s aggressive as well and I suspect mine is the silver flying fox and not real sae. Does anyone know where to get true sae in Selangor?

I was also considering Amano but am worried that they will eat the cherry. Saw a couple of video on that although most people said the cherries were probably dead when Amano ate it. However I still don’t want to take the risk..
