1. Annual Income: RM200k+
2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Better if none or there's option to be waived
3. Card required for: Rebates of any sort of transaction or discount and airport lounge access
4. Existing credit cards if any: MBB 2 card, MBB Visa infinite, Std. Chart visa plat and Std. Chart just one titanium
5. Looking at CC from: Alliance or UOB visa plat and OCBC great eastern plat
6. Others: I just found out Std. Chart just one titanium card no longer give me rebate and the Std. Chart visa plat no longer grants plaza premium lounge access. Damn... I kept those 2 cards for years because of their feature. Knowing this, I am planning to redeem all my points for vouchers and cancel my Std Chart card. Therefore I am now in the market to look for credit card that give good rebates like the std chart titanium and airport lounge access like Std. Chart platinum. Earlier today during lunch time i drop by Maybank to ask around what card they have to fit to my needs. I was recommended to apply for Visa Infinite. Since I already have MBB 2 card, they just told me to sign an application form and they fill up the rest. I left maybank branch at 2.30pm and by 4pm i receive a call the card is ready for collection. Just went to collect the card and damn they are really fast, approved and the card in my hand in less than 2 hours. However, I found out that the priority pass lounge access is only 5 times per year and only for principle card holder. I wonder if there is other credit card who allows me to use my lounge acess quota for a travellign partner who is with me? Therefore I am also trying to see if the visa infinite from Alliance or UOB will grant such options.
As for rebate I am not sure what is good. I don't need fuel rebate, my maybank 2 card amex i used to pump at shell every weekend to try to max out the RM50 monthly rebate quota. Granted, i never pump up to RM1000 a month, maybe RM400 a month, rest i try to shop at aeon jusco or carrefour on weekend to try and max out MBB 2 card limit. I also occasionally (twice a month) use the MBB 2 card at GSC. Even with this three transaction combined (petrol, grocery, GSC) I most of the time do not hit my monthly RM50 rebate quota.
Regardless since MBB 2card only give rebate if transaction is on weekend, I need another rebate card for other transaction like my maxis bill autodebit (which I cannot control if they can charge me on weekend or weekdays), restaurants (most restaurants do not accept AMEX), utilities bill (gas, electric, indah water), some shopping at retail outlets occasionally and my monthly annual insurance premium from great eastern (which adds to to close to RM20k per annum). That's why I was eyeing the great eastern card from OCBC but not sure if other card like wisecard or HSBC cash rebate card might be better? Hope to get some insights from ppl who knows more what other card has to offer for my case.

Thanks fly. Damn, at first i thought the OCBC great eastern feature is as per website. When i tried calling the call centre, they have changed from the 3% rebate of insurance premium to what u mentioned up there. Makes OCBC as boring as Std Chart totally. They also removed the airport lounge feature of their platinum great eastern card. Sigh... but the operator was telling me by dec 2013 they will announce the full feature of all OCBC card. As of now it seems most of the cards they not yet reveal full feature.
Ah... the HSBC card is very similar to MBB2 card. Since i already have MBB2 card which limit myself to rebate only on weekends, the HSBC card will not do me any good. From ur list I kinda feel WISE card is the best. I saw a booth promotion during the IT EXPO at mid valley few weeks back. They got promottion free water heater or something, should've grab wise card from them that time. My strategy of card usage as follow:
MBB 2 card strictly for weekend petrol usage: Average monthly petrol about RM 400 - should give me rebate of about RM20 at least. Any departmental store shopping like at metro/isetan/aeon jusco will also try to use this card on weekend.
Wise card i will choose utilities and grocery. The website say utilities only electric and water. Electricity i pay to TNB (wonder if can auto debit) and water is to my condo management. How to claim for water bills? Also does utility include gas malaysia? I hope it did. Wanna try to hit that RM1000 a month expenditure at least to capitalise on the RM100 rebate per month quota. Grocery i guess a month maybe about RM 200-300. Website mention all grocery store, does it include places like Sri Kota Mart, Speed 99 Mart, NSK? Lastly my telephone bill, maxis per month about RM 170. Does it include maxis broadband cause monthly i pay another RM 150 for broadband. So total:
utilities: 200 grocery: 300 maxis phone: 180 maxis broadband: RM 150 Sum: 830 - almost RM 1000 quota met. What else can i slot in there to maximize RM100 rebate per month?
I got another question of Wise card. I wonder if they have the 0% installment interest option? Say if I choose the dept. store option and I buy a TV from Aeon Big.C or Aeon jusco and go for installment plan, deducing RM300 per month, will that 300 per month be subject to 10% rebate monthly? Or do they just calculate the full sum on the first month and that's it. Or they just do not consider installment plan qualify for any rebate?
Reason i ask this is because i plan to buy a mattress and if possible to go for installment plan. A RM 4k mattress with 12 months installment should be about RM300+ a month and if wise card can cater for this rebate it will be awesome. Any idea?

My Expenditure monthly where i plan to get rebates from MBB amex and wise card:
1. TNB electric bill: RM100+ 2. Maxis handphone about RM 150 3. Maxis home fibre about RM 150 4. Petrol about RM400 5. Grocery about RM300 6. Restaurant and pubs about RM 500 to RM1000
From the thread i read it seems wise card not good to pay utilities, so my plan for MBB amex is to use it for weekend petrol and maybe my TNB bills. Question is how to pay TNB on weekend with MBB amex?
For wise card i plan to take mobile + dining + either grocery or dept. You mention something bout buy aeon voucher to qualify for 10% cash back. Is that under dept or grocery option? I very much like that, I like to buy metrojaya/isetan and parkson voucher too. But grocery i usually shop at either jusco or big c at mid valley, or NSK at kuchai lama or my neighbourhood market Sri Kota mart. I work in KLCC, so very close to maxis tower. You mention about paying all maxis bills at the kiosk is best way? Since i have like close to RM300 for maxis (150 handphone and 150 home fibre), so i can make like 6x payments of RM50 at the maxis kiosk every month? The online easypay is not qualified for home fibre rebate right? So kiosk is the way to go?
Why not much ppl choose dining for wise card? I go pub a lot, sometimes dine around restaurant in KLCC for lunch. I suppose that is best category for me. Is there only specific restaurants that qualify? Does pub qualify? Hope you can help shed some light.
Last but not least, should i go for wise gold or platinum? What difference?
