I'd like to extend my thanks to all the contributors of V1 and now we are at V2. I know there is a lot of goodwill and efforts that have been put in place and I'd like to say that myself (and the MODS) appreciate it.
Just a friendly reminder to our readers posting their questions here to follow the format given and not to treat here like a Kopitiam thread. The guideline are provided to provide ease of use, understanding and consistency in our answers to help you.
All the efforts here are on voluntary basis and the best way to appreciate the folks here is to at least follow the format and guidelines given. It is not too much to ask and I hope to receive nothing less our readers cooperation on the subject matter.
Thank you, hye

I'd like to remind everyone who uses this topic to get valuable advise on CC recommendations. CC is a financial tool and it works both ways - both to help and also can be a major burden to a person.
Banks are not in a business to deny cc to an individual without any reasons. These days banks have are bound to evaluate each individual credit risks before issuing cc to them. If you don't qualify today, it doesn't mean you would not qualify forever unless you pose a credit risk to the financial institutions.
I constantly remind the seniors to be responsible when dispensing advise. Similarly, readers are reminded not to push their way for that piece of plastic. If you don't qualify, you don't qualify. Pledging FD should not be considered as a backdoor method to obtain cc nor should it be abused.
Everyone should note my non-tolerance for abuse or potential abuse of cc.
