I like this card. However I only use 2-3 times a year. So I will not get that annual fee waiver thingy.

just swipe with petrol / makan / whatever, there is no limit as to how small the amount can be so i don't see the big issue. Start to be dependent on your CC. tongue.gif

i'm new and i plan want to apply for credit card. what i scared is the interest rate and hidden charges when purchasing using credit card.

1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM40K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: Must laugh.gif

3. Card required for: Education, Cash Back/Rebate Only (optional), AirMiles, hotel bookings, Dinning, Purchasing online store

4. Existing credit cards if any: nil.

5. Looking at CC from: Citibank, Maybank, Aeon. etc.. maybe other have better offer.

6. Others: when pay the credit card. i can pay via m2u since i hv maybank2u acc and cimb clicks. but how about citybank?

Cashback & airmiles - Maybank2Kard (Amex) read my recommendation few post back to mystvearn

You also get 7% rebate for booking via Agoda

no problem with which bank since IBG now only cost 10 cents.

mbb2amex (weekends = 5%+5x tp (2% equivalent), weekdays 5x tp (2% equivalent))
- good for utilities (tnb & tm) payment during weekends via m2u
- good for petrol during weekends
- insurance ge not accepting amex, but still can use mbb2master to pay with 1x tp (0.4% equivalent) = at least you don't need to apply another cc and incur another gst

yes it's 2 cards (amex & master OR amex & visa).
amex gives you 5%cb + 5x tp on weekends, 5x tp on weekdays
master/visa gives you 1x tp everyday

1x tp equivalent 0.4% (based on conversion to redeem cash vouchers)
5x tp = 0.4% x 5 = 2%
