1. Annual Income: RM24K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: computer parts purchase, petrol, groceries and light shopping & emergencies

4. Existing credit cards if any: None.

5. Looking at CC from: CIMB Cash Rebate Gold, UOB One, Hong Leong Bank MACH (I think these are the good ones that can fit the 24k requirement or is there more?)

6. Others: What I'm actually looking for is a card that wouldn't burden me if I pay on time to avoid interest. A card that wouldn't charge me if I didn't use it. Don't plan on spending more than I can afford and end up burdening myself.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thank you, highly appreciated, I did some research on my own. CIMB seems to be the choice for me too. smile.gif

*Additional Info*

Might I ask what about the RHB Bank Evo card? It seems to be the same as CIMB CR Gold. Any info that you have on this?

Thanks

Any recommendations for cc to replace ocbc titanium? Smtg like all other retail expenses 1% etc.

No annual fee is a must.

Alr hv mbb2 amex and uob one hence this is a back up card for other retail expenses which do not belong any packages groceries telco movie dining etc.

smtg like HLB essential without annual fee.

1. Annual Income: RM36K to RM60K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: List all your needs. Petrol, Cash Back

4. Existing credit cards if any: Citibank clear+Gold shell (planing to cancel and looking for another card). Public Gold(bundle with public bank housing loan, dont know if i can cancel it or not.)

5. Looking at CC from: Not sure, need some advice

6. Others: I prefer to get cash back instead of reward points, not a heavy cc user btw, usually will only spend 1k on cc.

Can anyone advice which card is more suitable for me? Thank you.

if your concern is "other retail expenses which do not belong any packages groceries telco movie dining etc.", and not because of merchant not accepting amex, then you don't need another cc. just use your existing mbb2amex as it still gives you 1.25% anyway.
