3% quarterly rebate for any transaction (except for petrol) on any day. the only requirement is to spend at least 3k per quarter to activate the 3%.

3k per q... i cant meet this as my monthly AIA DD is around RM500, about RM1500 per q.

any other cc that i can take advantage from with AIA monthly DD ?

i know OCBC offer 1% cash rebate but try to earn more than that. tongue.gif

3k per quarter for anything. just move your other 1.5k transaction from your other cc to this card every quarter.

e.g on watami aeon card :-

1st month spend 1K
2nd month spend 1K
3rd month spend 1K

add up 3K per q, so qualify for 3%, the 3% cash back will be 3% over 3K spend = RM90 ? or cap at certain amount ?

yes, correct. it also can be 1st month spend 0, 2nd month 0, but 3rd month 3k.

cap at rm150 = maximum rm5k per quarter for the 3%.

Hi guys, i'm new to credit cards, i hope you guys can suggest what credit card is best suitable for me, thanks !

Annual Income:RM36K to RM50K

2. Free Lifetime Annual Fee: A Must

3. Card required for: 0% Instalment Plan, Petrol, Utilities (Unifi & Electric Bills) , Cash Back/Rebate Only

4. Existing credit cards if any: Nil

5. Looking at CC from: Maybank, PB and HLB

6. Others: Planning to get a credit card to purchase an iMac or other big purchases like furnitures or gadgets using the 0% instalment plan. As for Petrol (RM250 monthly) , Utilities like Unifi & Electric Bill (RM250 monthly), and Cash Back/Rebate are just a bonus. Main use of the credit card will be for big puchases or emergency use only.

I would prefer maybank bank since i have a account with them, but the problem is the store i would want to purchase the iMac is not one of their approved merchants rclxub.gif

MBB2Card for Petrol and Utilities.

For 0% instalment plans... instead of JUST getting the cards that are tied to merchants, one can make use of 0% Balance transfer

balance transfer

and also cards like this:

ocbc silver mastercard

or just apply from 2 banks?
