Hi LYNs!

I have a Proton Wira Special Edition (WiSE) 1.5 GLi, year made 2003, with a C97 chassis, using stock springs and Improve Comfort shock absorbers, with no rear Anti Roll Bar.

Currently I'm using 205/45/R16 Kumho Ecsta SPT (KU31) with stock rims. I would like to replace my tyres for maximum comfort and maximum noise reduction tyre. My budget is firm at RM325 and below for each tyre (A+B+C+GST).

From the above, I seek help in looking for the best tyre that may suit my car or my rims as for maximum comfort and maximum noise reduction from tyre (drip gry should be there, while wet is not expected - below 120km/h driving style).

I'm currently looking at Continental MC5, but I can't seem to find new ones in the market recently. Also, I'm looking at Continental CC5 and Michelin XM2 but I'm not sure whether do they have my size.

Your suggestion and advice is highly appreciated.

Thank you people!

Yours genuinely,
Nikly Tiong J.W.

for 205/45/16 don't have cc5 and xm2.suggested use 195/50/16 for better comfort.
noise reduction,prefereble asymetric thread pattern like fk914,maxxis m35,yokohama ae50,continental mc5.

Hi leehernandez.

Yeah mc5 is the best option so far to my understanding. However, it seems like I might wanna downgrade to 15' as 16' is pretty heavy for a 1.5 wira. fc and acceleration is sluggish. so yeah, any suggestion for 15'? heard 195/55/15 is the best that i can go for, for comfort.
