QUOTE(echoesian @ Nov 4 2013, 04:24 PM)
I have been using the Falken ZE512 185/60/14 for about 3 years now... I found that it is a good tyre compare to the original GY NCT5, it is much quieter and the rubber is softer but I find it is not very good on wet road and the threads gone very fast...

Now, the tyres are approaching botak soon.. I'm currently looking for replacement for all the four tyres. However, I wanna try something different now, I'm looking something like the ZE512 with comfort, soft but I want it to be able to have a good grip on wet road and the threads should last longer as well.. Any nice recommendation?

may i recommend you Hankook Optimus ME02 ?
just change my dad's car to that tyre from Falken ZIEX.

what the shop told me that this Hankook have much better dry and wet traction + few mm extra rubber thickness.

dont know how true it is but so far my dad satisfied with the tyres. i changed all four sets btw.

unable to give u personal review as im using different sets and size.

My car's 235/45R17 tyres are due for replacement. Thinking of getting Michelin 3ST but unfortunately, the size is not available locally. Anyone could recommend mid range tyres with good grip, low fuel comsumption, good stability during rain and high speed crushing and low wear rate?

GY Assy 2.

Can anyone recommend toyo Neo 3 (168rm) or Michelin XM 2 (230rm)? Prefer more quiet tyre. Current Silverstone already lasted 75K.
*
i'd go with Michelin.

if u ask me why, I just cant answer.

maybe I'm a brand conscious (for tires).

I'm looking for place around klang valley where i can buy Goodyear F1 A2 235/40/R18 tyres... kindly advice as I've asked couple of shops in puchong area and they say they dont have stock.
*
if my thoughts are right, they are waiting for A3.

already launched but the tyre profile didn't release at the same time.

this month release new profile and next month new profile.

u can check tyrereviews for info of launching date.

I'm too waiting for A3 but my A2 already busted before it released.

maybe next round of changing the sets.
