Guy, I got myself a Yokohama Geolander for my kembara. I'm no expert but want to ask, from the kembara indication it say 185kpa or 26psi for rear and back. But when I change my tire at the shop, the shop owner suggest I to pump the tire to 220kpa or 32psi. Izit okay to pump at this pressure?

geolander max psi quite low. my 215-65-16 max=40psi. l max mine to 36. takut .. 90% of the tyre specification.
better to follow the tyre not the tech. kid.
if tyre blow up while u drive, you die not him.
anyway l just change to michelin, max 50psi stated on tyre.

geolander very good on rainy road , only a bit noisy on highway . it is a off road tyre... tahan lasak..
you better reduce the psi to 24 on the save side . the manufacturer don't print that for no reason

I can't find any print on the tyre stated the maximum pressure. Mine was G046. So how you feel when you max your to 36psi? The day I change the tyre I'm driving with 32psi and it feel bumpy. Then I just change back to the recommended 26psi and it feel less bumpy(now want to compare between this 2 pressure which one can safe fuel). Haha, will definitely stick back with the recommended pressure. Just want to ask around a good tip in maintaining the tyre if we pump it not based on the recommended pressure that all. Thanks for your info.

Yes, like what u said. The geolander do have good handling during rain but down side is it really noisy on the highway. I'm been using Michelin XM1 for 8 years, must say it is one of the best brand when choosing tyre.

try 26,28,30,32 hihi, foc . testing. choose the best setting for your car.
higher the pressure , better the fc.
