QUOTE(kwwong1 @ May 18 2014, 03:05 PM) My car's 235/45R17 tyres are due for replacement. Thinking of getting Michelin 3ST but unfortunately, the size is not available locally. Anyone could recommend mid range tyres with good grip, low fuel comsumption, good stability during rain and high speed crushing and low wear rate? Try the new Yokohama Advan Sport v105 (if they have your size). Its dry and wet grip is on par with the highest end Michelin Pilot Super Sport. |

QUOTE(BEN SOH98 @ Nov 16 2014, 10:38 AM) what size? area? My size is 225-45-R18. Im located in Damansara. I need to change 4 tyres. What's the best price for:1) Michelin Pilot Super Sport 2) Michelin PS3 3) Goodyear Assy 2 4) Yokohama Advan Sport v105 5) Yokohama Advan DB Please give me total prices including balancing, allignment & valves. Dont want any surprises when i come to the shop. Hopefully can pay with credit card. Best price i got so far is Hin Leong, Klang for Michelin PS3 (RM600 per tyre). Tyre age is 37 weeks year 2014. Im currently using PSS. But due to the price, im considering a more comfort based tyre with less noise. |

QUOTE(BEN SOH98 @ Nov 16 2014, 11:16 AM) Hin Leong, Klang for Michelin PS3 (RM600 per tyre) Credit card is extra charge. They have already told me. Their price for Goodyear Assy 2 is RM760 but tyre is March 2013. But since its imported from Germany, age may not be a huge problem. but I will not travel so far and queue for few hour Whats your price for 2014 Assy 2? |

QUOTE(BEN SOH98 @ Nov 16 2014, 11:16 AM) Hin Leong, Klang for Michelin PS3 (RM600 per tyre) I replaced 4 of my tyres. Finally decided on Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 2 for RM730 per piece (235-45-18) which is a good price for German manufactured tyres despite the tyres being about 19 months old. Hin Leong's service was very efficient and fast. Whole process took just 1 hour despite it being peak hour. but I will not travel so far and queue for few hour Well worth the effort of driving there from Damansara and saving RM880 in the process.
