Guys, just want to check.

I'm about to have all four tyres of my 5th Gen Honda City replaced and I intend to replace them with the same stock tyres (ie. ContiPremiumContact 2E 185/55/R16).

I was given a quote of RM250.00 each. Alignment and Balancing are inclusive.

Is the price alright?

Got RM900 per piece ah bang? Gilaaaa.. i wan set of 4.. got this kind of budget or not? Haha area around klang or shah alam..

900/4 = 225/pc for a 17"???
used tire which near botak got i think....

tats a price for a 15" good eco tire i think...not for 17

Try looking at Viking tyres? It's under Continental. Not sure about pricing though. Please dont go for cheap China and Indo tyres like Thunderer, Corsa etc. because you'll regret it.

Stretch budget a bit and try search for Neuton. Can ask nestum oso for price.

Changed my tyre today at klang Hin Leong (Kedai Papan).

4 pieces of XM2 185/55/r16 manufactured week 20/2014. Total cost = RM 935 balancing/alignment/new valve.

The cheapest so far since asked rawang area RM 260/piece.

i got quote for XM2 195/55/15 for RM 240/unit at bentong pahang

hahaha cannot get ah that price? so expensive liao tayar.. btw thanks brah


okay.. any recommended budget? cheapest.. bcuz im going to change my tyre pretty fast since im traveling a lot.. 5km per month.. thats why im looking for a lowest price.. or can recommend me long lasting tyre? just tell the budget.. i'll save it..

Shah alam and klang maybe cheaper

what is teh price range for 15" rim, any tyre shop recommendation ?

what you want from the tyre?
Comfort? performance?
912 is a ok tyre. ok grip with bit noisy after certain used.

quiet and affordable, normal performance should be ok
