What would be a good 205/65R/15??

I got a quote for Michelin XM2 for RM270/pc. Worth it??

Am looking for something with good grip and preferably quiet.

Just change all 4 tires on my car to Michelin xm2. My previous set was 1 pair of cc5 for the rear and premium contact 2 for the front.

Since its still a new tire, i can't judge its grip performance yet. But what i have notice is, The tire is really comfortable. It makes your car floats like a vios. I also felt that my car is much more lighter and eager to accelerate with a very little amount of throttle input. This might be because of their claimed lowered rolling resistant. What also impressed me is the noise level. CC5 claimed to be a silent tire. but Xm2 brings silent to a whole new level. Cruising at 110 on my previous set of tire, was damn torturous. Adding to the noise, is my straight flow muffler and a high gear ratio. So cruising on the highway is quite a hell for me. After changing to Xm2. I went on a cruise on LDP, to my surprise. I can barely hear the tire. And cruising at 110 now is the sweet spot for my car, since its still silent enough to cruise and is within the speed limit rclxm9.gif. The XM2 also soaks up dips on the highways very well.

well, this is my review after running this tire for 100km. Will update more after 1k km.

Hi guys,

Need some recommendation since I'm a bit new into tyres and cars in general. I'm using a Ford Fiesta 1.6 Hatchback (2011 model), and just thinking of changing my tyres to a good quality one.

Some of my friends recommend Toyo Tyres T1R, but need opinions from the gurus here on this claim.

I normally use my car everyday on the Federal Highway and occasionally drive long distances (about 2-4 times per month). I like taking sharp corners, and good set of tyres for rainy days.

Size is a bit of a tough factor, since it's a 195/50/R16 size.

Any recommendations, gurus? Thanks! smile.gif
