I recently changed from petron to caltex. I does notice some difference as i'm staying in a hill area. When climbing, it is much powerful (imo). haven't tried other yet.

Sorry now only i notice you mention about turbo variant. Mine is IAMF+ auto.
*
Caltex and BHP are giving the better performance for the car smile.gif

QUOTE(SportyHandling @ Oct 21 2013, 01:18 PM)
By the way, I forgot to mention the handle of the Saga BLM is of even lower quality than the Preve. When I was at the service centre previously, two owners of the Saga BLM reported some defect on the handle, difficult to open or something. I think it is quite fragile too, and if too much force is used on the handle it may break.
*
For common sense, Preve has the better quality than Saga smile.gif

The Preve LE attracted me. Nice bodykit and leather seat.
*
Due to PaulTan recommendation, this car is similiar to the specs of the Australian-market Preve, which has scored a five-star ANCAP rating smile.gif

Hey guys. My Preve's steering wheel feels very "loose" lately. I wonder what's causing it. Can it be fixed at the SC?

My Preve is only 1 month old, btw.
*
It could be your alignment but it also could be other things in your steering coloumb, but just go have it checked asap just to be safe. smile.gif

sifus, why my preve steering feel hard to turn right but easily to turn left. hav do the eligment and balancing but still the same.
*
The rack pinion gear is bad. there are special valves inside to direct assist left or right. By adding a littl gas, you are building pump pressure and freeing up a sticking valve or so. A pump will not cause loss of assist in one direction. Your rack/pinion is most likely going to need to be replaced. You do however want to put a jack directly under the lower control arm on each side, leave tires on and use your hands to swing the wheel all the way left and then right. just to be sure a strup bearing is not binding. Not likely but worth checking smile.gif

haha, still can't decide whether Manual or Auto.
Somemore there's no test drive unit for this 2 variants.
Will take manual if better in Fuel consumption....

If you are mostly drive in KL city and always meet the traffic jam, you may chose AUTO better smile.gif

actually the free labour is valid for the first three services with SC, either 1k, 5k, 10k or 1k, 10k 20k. And in one year time after buying the car.

Milage for service interval depends on SC. Some recommends every 5k and other recommends every 10k. Some said that if you're using fully-syn for EO, the intervals is 10k, while 5k if you're using semi-syn EO.

Few SC do follow the service booklet reccomendations, every 10k even if using semi-syn EO, as per my experience with SC Pantai Bharu.
*
Whether the vehicle is using mineral, semi or full synthetic oil, it is recommended the service interval is at 5,000 Km. Full synthetic oil can take up to 10,000 Km without degrading as the full synthetic oil has special purpose additives to take up to 10,000 Km. Therefore, if the vehicle uses full synthetic oil which can take up to10, 000 Km but the service interval still remains at 5,000 Km albeit the oil and filter will not be changed. smile.gif
