If im not mistaken, any internall, metallic or wiring changes made by the user can automatically voids the warranty...
This is based on the warranty brochure I've read a year ago...
But for more information, you can refer to the SC

Yeap this is ANCAP version with the 6 airbag~~
My installment is 700+ (for 9 years)~~
driven 1400+ KM to date..no rattling issue or interior ngek ngek so far~~and only some vibration sound of CVT  between 1700 to 2100 RPM~~and CVT whining sound above 3500 RPM~~

nope the ANCAP version is NOT VT3+ gearbox~~

Haha i think i will use the current RIM for the next one year or until 3rd change of tyre~~
*
R u sure its the cvt thats whinning above 3.5k rpm??? I think its the turbo in action, not cvt smile.gif

Btw my preve rim is a bit of a problem, before this I ran into a hole, and my rim bengkok... I went and replace it with a new one. Now the other rim bengkok for no reason... hv anyone experienced this?

Hmm the turbo sound is fine and i like it~~it is like engine inhale sound...soft but i can feel it~~
the whining sound i mention is quite annoying~~its in a way quite loud and sharp~~like something vibrating~~
anyway...now seems like the sound is not as strong as when i first get my car on the 6th Dec~~

Hurm better go n consult with SC... ask them to test drive ur car to experience the sound problem with you...

history man..ok, here it goes..
New car (0-10000km) - Car will die off if switch from D<->R, sometimes cannot start, need to turn ignition 3 times (exactly 3 times if the 1st ignition failed) -> Frequency of happening, quite often during 0-1000km, after that randomly happen. (Fuel pedal press and car not moving did not happen, but straightaway die off happens during early morning or after parking car long time, I did warm up the car for a minute+tongue.gif)

After 10k services at Section 13 -> Car feel more responsive. D<->R die off not happen anymore, just that when shift from D<->R, sometimes rpm low, shudders but did not die off. Ignition start problem happen only once from 10k~20k.
Fuel pedal press and car not moving happens quite often during traffic jam (one day around 2~4 times, I need to travel around 3~4hours daily, jam quite bad)

Anyway, was it a bad choice for Preve, sometimes yes sometimes no..haha..when it is behaving itself properly, then it is good..  laugh.gif

Its the problem with gearbox I think. Before this I had a problem where my preve engine stopped after I went from D to R or R to D. After several services, they have changed my gearbox, and what so ever. Finally now they noticed that my gearbox fluid is actually leaking and it was the factory problems.

About the seat, depends on the individual. Me, I prefer fabric seat. I tend to sweat a bit especially at the back. I get a bit uncomfortable after more than 3 hours on leather seat. But fabric seats I can drive for quite a long time.
*
I personally prefer fabric because I frequently left my car under the sun. In a hot day, I rather sit on a fabric seating compared to the leather ones. smile.gif

I just want to share my experience :
1) dont go and buy preve H7 headlight at other market other than proton SC, it will cost you more but you'll have the same quality. Proton's H7 headlight is around rm18.9 while the H7 I bought from a market is around rm40 and above. To be honest, proton H7 headlight is better in terms of brightness and quality.

2) if your Esc (electronic stability control) light on your HUD is blinking, it means that its working well. But if the light is not blinking (continuously light up), go and do your balancing and alignment check. If problem persists, consult SC to reflash youe ECU &TCU.

3) if there is a weird sound on your third light break, go to SC ( I went to setapak SC near titiwangsa mcdonald) and ask them to fix it. Proton crew ask me to join them work on it, I ask them to put some sponge to the loose part, and it worked well!

4) if your car sounds weird when braking, go to SC, and ask them to fix it. It maybe because of the brake disc. If problem persists, ask them to fix it.

5) if your car died when changing gear either from D to R of from R to D, better go and ask SC to fix it. It maybe due to gear fluid leaking. If not, then its something else

I think I have that sound. Especially if I accelerate.
*
You have two possibilities:
1) something is loose inside your third brake light. You can predetermine this problem by holding the brake light while youre accelerating or when you heard the sound. You can ask someone to help you with this. If its quiet when you holding it, confirm the problem is there. If not:
2) there are something rubbing inside your boot. Mine got rubbing problem with some metals that holding the boot. The SC put some grease there to solve it. If problem still persists, you can refer to SC.... BUT, it is recommended that you determine it yourself first because the SC still dont know what causing the sound.

Thanks..any recommendation which sc should i go somewhwre near keramat?
*
I recommend setapak SC, but you'll have to make a reservation first because too many people sent their preve there smile.gif

I would not recommend batu caves because their customer service is quite poor and you have to double checked your car before you drive off the SC because sometimes they didnt did what they've billed. sad.gif

But I still want to know which SC delivers better service... if anyone here can recommend any SC for next service, it would be great! hehehe

Last friday I ran over a size 8 spanner aka wrench... dont know how it got there... just my luck maybe... lost my tyre and mudguard/splash shield... went to proton SC they fix it in just 30 minutes! It cost me rm90 for secondhand tyre (from tyre shop), rm61 for the part, rm18 for labor.
