just got my CFE last week...anyone know where can i install the front parking sensor and how much?i kinda nervous when i want to park my car..scared will damage the front bumper..haha

Funny thing is their system has problem, the bill printed out all 0.00, but of course, I have to pay to check out.

ur car is new? new car engine tends to have much higher friction when it is new...this is normally due to micro imperfection of the engine~~ so it need sometime to "wear in / break in / run in" ...
some said 10,000KM....some say 5,000KM~~depending on the engine... (google it)

so after 1,000KM oil change, try to hantam you engine a bit to make sure the engine blocks sits correctly in place and reduce friction~~~

full tank (50L) for 400km in city drive with new engine wasn't that bad in my opinion...try avoid the jam and go out of town...at 100KM/hr can achieve 6.6L/100KM based on the instant FC calculation displayed~~

Anyway...dont compare Preve CFE's FC with normal 1.6 engine car~~the FC should be comparable to 2.0 car especially when u are running in city constant stop and go situation~~

Err it goes a bit back into history. Let's take Syntium 1000, 15W-50. The W stands for Winter, back in those days you would have to switch between different types of lubricants, during winter and not. The '50' is during normal climate, basically this oil will have its viscosity rated at '50' at 100 degrees celcius. However, lubricants nowadays are considered as Multigrades, where you no longer have to switch the lubricants depending on the climate (during cold weather period you need thinner lubricants).

Just remember the basic, the lower the numbers are, the better they are. The lower the 'W' value is, the easier your engine works, especially during cold start

For Preve specifically, I recommend Syntium 5000 (5W-30) as I believe 90% of service centers carry Petronas product only. Usually the service costs around RM300, for 6 months interval. That's like RM50 per month

I was looking at my fuel data for my ex-Accord and my Preve. Same driver, same driving style, same FC! But what the statistics don't show is that Preve FC is much better on highway compared to my ex-Accord. Compared to my dad's iVTEC Accord however, they both have similar highway FC, but Accord has worse FC (due to my dad's driving style.

but as i said bro, the reverse gear from static to move works fine, no need to throttle at all.

Just wanna check with you guys
1) During traffic jam start/stop <5km/h, do you step on the accelerator pedal to move or simply let the car move by itself using D and brake when necessary? I find that if I step on the pedal to move the car it jerks a lot.
2) While waiting at up-slope like red light stop, do you keep at D and use foot brake or keep at N and use handbrake? I know when start the best is keep at D and release handbrake slowly while stepping on accelerator pedal like manual car but how about when waiting?
