Just notice something different in my Preve. Previously when I drove test drive Preve I stated that I don't feel engine braking while downshifting on to reduce speed, it feels gliding with the test drive unit.

But on my Preve I really feels the engine braking when you're going from fast to stop. just downshift and the car really slows down by the engine. awesome. just like normal manual tranny

My budget probably around RM300-RM400 per tyre. I'm not sure about tyre price. Never bought one before. What's the normal price for tyre?

just still getting used to turbo kicks in at 2k rpm and seats are pretty hard for fabric seats...

so here goes,
1) default ecotint tinted that comes with car for cfe, do include windshield sun strip?
2) i know tinted warranty will void if we double layer it but if we just add sun shade tinted does it void?
3) how much cost if we do it at ecotint shop? n warranty not void right if we use ecotint itself?

3900k is still very yellow, get 4200k or 4300k (like Philips crystal vision) you will get a whiter yellow colour

hmm~~i have a very weird problem just now~~
my car (CFE) is parked in front of my friend's house hence blocking the main gate...when my friend's wife is coming back...she called and inform me to remove the car as she is about to reach...

when i move away and parked at the side waiting for his wife to park inside the house....i opened my driver side window and was thinking to stop the engine (by pressing the push start button) as i do not know exactly when is she coming back~~~~but the engine refuse to stop even after multiple try~~

even after i closed the window it does not seems to response to the command~~
i stop trying after pushing it more than 10 times and wait for another 2 minutes or so (a bit panic already) and try again after that~~this time finally the engine stopped...

any one has the same experience as me?

To update the GPS, you need to pay Bosch (not Proton) RM330 for updated map. Don't bother, they are using Tom Tom map. Tom Tom has good map for Europe. But for Malaysia, even their latest map is woefully inaccurate.

The SC even use the expensive Syntium 3000 5W-40 engine oil. 

never experienced that...ask them to check?
i just need to hold the unlock button and the boot will open itself
maybe it is lucky draw? while stocks last? as i learn the gift wasn't from SC per se, but from Petronas

Agreed bro..Syn3000 provide smoothness and quietness of the engine, although it cost RM200++

Currently surveying @ Preve for my fiancee. Have a few questions to ask if any of the sifu here free to respond;

1 - Thinking instead of settling with Saga, Persona or Myvi, its better to get a relatively great car for a long term usage (+-10 years target with family). Am I making a right decision here?

2 - Any major different between 2014 model with previous years?

3 - I am most probably going to choose 1.6 Exec rather than 1.6 Premium. Is it going to differ much in the real-life quality I shall receive?

4 - Any personally-suggested seller here that based @ PJ? Any seller are very much welcome to PM me to discuss in details by the way
