Guys, did any of you install the flip spring in the rear trunk? Saw a few sellers in the trade zone, I think it comes in handy when the trunk flips up 'automatically' rather than simply unlatching itself from the lock.

It could be your alignment but it also could be other things in your steering coloumb, but just go have it checked asap just to be safe.

Actually there could be another solution, simple and easy to DIY, someone posted in Prevoc FB, you just need a screwdriver to widen the gap between the panel to remove the ngek ngek sound.


Now ngek ngek sound removed, got tik tik sound at front dashboard pulak

Send to SC to fix but somehow the sound still come on and off.

As for other issues, kena buat appointment again.

Need to reseal the rear window quarter glass and the front windscreen

Also claiming on the seat yang berbulu. Need to come back to SC on that.

All done at section 13 SC, IMHO better than the SC that i went before.

changed car batt..can start car already...then new problem...
maybe due to previously start car when batt was dead..i think the system reset already..
now when start car..the gear lock wont release..

put key in the hole next to the gear stick already..no use..

called proton..they said need to press break...but the problem is the break like a bit hard...

then no time test already..need to rush to work..hopefully later go back home everything will b fine..

i test drove preve at cose shah alam. I heard noise from cvt itself whenever i accelerate. its quite annoying tho. asked the salesman, and he said the new batch has less noise.. which i doubt so.

is it true?

Nope, the annoying sound is related to the rear dash board and rear seat. Sometimes I too hear the sound you mentioned, haven't brought it up to SC yet due to work.

Help...the gear cannot be shifted...can shift from P to halfway b4 R only...

must be gear knob problem. open the gear knob see anything stuck. my saga gear knob plastic component snap.

tat day b4 i change car batt i think i attempt to start car too many time till system setting become strange..
After changed batt..the system setting still there then caused it dun auto release the gear lock...
Then jz now go reset system then everything is fine now..

not only negative...

proton i-care teach me take out both negative n positive and wait for at least 20 minutes b4 connecting back...remember take out negative n positive 1st then when put back...put positive then only negative...n better dont make positive n negative touch together...


i called twice...1st 1 tell me: ohhh gear got problem liao...need to tow...
2nd tell me to do reset...

i usually dun wait for twenty long minutes.
once taken out both positive n negative terminal, i just press the brake pedal for a couple of minutes.
then reconnect everything n check again.

There is a solution in prevoc facebook, need to increase gap between wheelhouse and rear plate or something.

May I know where is this place? I have this sound when car start to move and stop.

Actually i found the problem and solved it already. Seems that the gap between the rear wheelhouse and rear panel is making the ngek ngek sound. All you need to do is to get a screwdriver, insert at the gap and pull down, there you will make a bigger gap thus creating space and eliminating the noise.
