I also want to know because the petrol saving is quite good but how does it save petrol and give performance boost at the same time.

Normally if performance boost means more petrol used.

P.S i am very happy with the current performance just want the petrol saving the race chip can offer.
*
True, 1L/100KM savings sounds good

The only thing that I really envy suprima is vt3+, then if preve v2.0 still using vt3, its no big deal.
*
Preve LE is VT3+

but the price tag at 80k with no rebate at all~~
worth it?
*
I consider it as worth, but it is definitely a bigger sum spent for the premium.

I signed my hire purchase agreement yesterday.

As I know, Preve LE part number for the gearbox is different from Preve CFE. One nice chap in the forum emailed Punch, and was informed that Preve LE uses VT3+.

It could have been faster if I did not negotiate my bank interest rate.

Maybank and CIMB 2.85
Public Bank 2.77

Then Maybank counter 2.76, and got the deal

QUOTE(vseries @ Nov 15 2013, 07:58 PM)
have you collected your Preve LE?
*
No. Just seen it today. Might be putting at the branch a while waiting for the desired plate number.

Hey guys... Am interested with Preve LE. So it's CVT uses Suprima one? what's the improvement we can feel?

Today i just tried test drive CFE Preve, the shifting during acceleration feels good, but when u downshift, it feels like there's no engine braking for deceleration. is this normal?
*
The engine braking is said to be too strong on downhill.

*
Preve LE has no hill hold. VT3+ does not add feature. Main improvement is noise reduction

anyone confirm this?
*
No, CFE remains. I have been visiting my car twice over the weekend biggrin.gif

Oh then nothing's changed, same as the regular Preve. It's considered position / parking lights not DRL then.

The Suprima's DRL will light up once the engine is switched on, no need to turn the light knob.
*
Then can turn off or not?

Sometimes when I want to be stealthy, I prefer the option to let me turn off the DRL and headlamps altogether
