You can check various competition below.

Superlap Battle

Ignition Track Day

Titan Time Attack

Preve is fun

So it's in the Sepang Race Circuit as in the Ignition track day. Impressive stuff. Reminds me of a friend who is an avid racing fan. He used to have this old but presumably modified Mercedes Benz model with wide tyres that I think he uses for race occassions, and he used to tell me not to follow his footsteps. Haha.. I guess we need to spend quite a bit of $$$ for the tyres, brakes and stuff, since on the race tracks the tyres and brakes and also the suspension will be subject to high wear and tear with fast and furious driving. Not so suitable for normal passenger vehicles I guess?

He has the Citroen C5 and Boxter as his everyday drive, though the Merc has been sold since early this year. Not too sure what vehicle he is using for the race tracks now. Maybe the Boxter.

Yes, the Preve Turbo is fun, especially with the paddle shifters which may only come in useful during race sessions when attacking corners and stuff. Though the acceleration may not be the best, but handling is quite decent.

The sound from the seat came back. Need to bring the car to the service centre by end of the month to have a permanent solution.

So I went to a branch SC to have my CVT checked up. I had issues with it twice.

Then, to my surprise, the person told me Proton is not able to read out the error code from the TCU. They dont have the software/equipment. They can only clear the error. I was told, this is applicable even to COE.

Haha can any of you confirm this? I have contacted Punch regarding the CVT and they asked me to retrieve the error code. But this is just....I dont get it.

I have the same issue as well. It became noticable around 1-2 months of ownership.

I just reported to the SC and they claimed, they have tightened something. BUT, lol I just dont know how serious they are towards customers' complaints. Nothing improved! And this SC is a branch ok.

Which SC? Mind you, my car after changing one way valve, engine died...sc said crankshaft sensor faulty causing engine to die off...

Another thing, tinting at rear left quarter glass peeling off. Was ok when send into sc....haiyo....proton still have a long way to go in providing acceptable service quality.

Bachang, Melaka. I took a day off for this hoping everything will be solved. I understand if they troubleshoot it and then cant pinpoint the root cause, it is ok as long as the issue subsides. But in my case, the first 10m of driving, I already heard the creaking sound, just as before I let them check. sweat.gif I couldnt be bothered to reverse.

Tonite rode shotgun on mengsuan's Preve LE. As a passenger, I feel the power delivery is more similiar to Suprima S than the current/older Preve.

Didn't test drive though, so no comments on the throttle behaviour. So if you plan to get the Preve soon, make sure it comes with the VT3+ CVT.

Anyway, to identify the 5-star ANCAP Preve, look for the Airbag wording on the interior plastic trim on the A, B and C pillar.
