hello, i need the mx5021 wiring diagram of the 9 pins "mini din" connector
i torn it out and i'd like to resolder it, but i don't know which color of wire goes with which pin number...
could you help me, i can't find any information on the web...

if you don't use anymore this cable, you just have to cut the grey plastic around it and make a picture

Why did you "tear" it off? Any pictures of the connector in the current state?

by accident... the connector was bent, i managed to repair it thinking i could find a diagram on the web... but i can't find anything...

Currently have 2 units of MX5021 in repair, thus I can check the wiring on the plug. At the moment a little busy, will get back to you later.

Yups, still busy. Haven't had time to open up that remote control pod to check the wiring yet. Still working on the mainboard as well as other speakers. Also one of the MX5021 units had this problem...

Just to avoid confusion, beware that those pinouts are looking/facing towards the connector pins (plug/connector side), and not from looking/facing from the back (where the solder points are located). All connections were traced from the pins to the controller board...

As with any electronics, we've to be careful and not accidentally break them. They're not bulletproof and not easy to find spares for these IT related things that cost sub RM300..where its likely that it wasn't designed to be repaired, throw away and buy new since they change models like change of fashion so often.

well, i welded everything as mentioned, but no sound from right and left speakers, just a weak sound from the sub.... are you sure of the pinouts? i don't have a white wire for example, it's a black wire instead (there are 2 black wires)
