In pfSense, under the "General Setup" menu, you get to key in up to four custom DNS servers. Hence, e.g., you can have two IPv4 DNS and two IPv6 DNS.
It doesn't cost the company much, as I just re-purposed an old HP server (dual Pentium 500mhz, 18GB SCSI and 1GB RAM) which has been idle for sometime into a router/firewall/proxy using pfSense. I've been using this same hardware for 3+ years under pfSense and I'm quite pleased with the reliability (well, server hardware reliability just can't be beat).
Finally got my humble pFsense (VM) up with IPv6 support. Thanks for your tips. BTW I was using an old Dlink DSL-2640B (bridge mode) given by TM which its' firmware doesn't support IPv6. So modem have nothing to do with IPv6 It doesn't cost the company much, as I just re-purposed an old HP server (dual Pentium 500mhz, 18GB SCSI and 1GB RAM) which has been idle for sometime into a router/firewall/proxy using pfSense. Thanks again.
