QUOTE(feedzz @ Jan 1 2015, 11:44 PM) After much pain and experimenting, I got ipv6 working on OpenWRT Barrier Breaker 14.07 by disabling Request IPv6-address. Seems to work so far and survives reboots and PPPOE reconnections. Will update if it breaks again. [attachmentid=4282970] [attachmentid=4282971] [attachmentid=4282972] Hi there! i followed your settings and ipv6 worked. tested it on DIR-825 B1 running OpenWRT Barrier Breaker 14.07 final version. Thanks!

1492 will definitely cause connectivity problems. 1280 is OK especially if you have Android smartphones connecting to the network.

I used an MTU of 1492 just fine... with all sorts of devices. I suspect that the problem that some of you face is broken residential gateways that don't clamp MSS to MTU correctly. I think it's best to avoid MSS clamping, it's a hack anyway. If your RG lets you set the MTU in Route Advertisment messages, try that first. Then your devices on the LAN will natively use an MTU of 1492 and work end-to-end without any clamping.

Setting 1492 in routeros' RA does not work. Facebook will not load at all and videos in Youtube will not stream. Lowering it to 1420 or something like that, makes everything fine.

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Feb 8 2015, 03:24 AM) i have a rb250gs, can i use 1492 ;_; safely ? my configuration is btu > rb250gs (switch) > e4200 v1 (router) > pcs.... PS: youtube on pc doesn't stutter. but on android it does.... not really sure why It is probably a router-level config.

Still can't delegate IPv6 Address to LAN interface with Openwrt Any idea? They said is ISP problem but I don't believe it is because I can get IPv6 Address on all devices with dlink TM stock adsl router. This post has been edited by darrenliew96: Feb 8 2015, 10:42 PM

QUOTE(alexwsk @ Feb 8 2015, 11:22 PM) ok, thanks a lot, never noticed this developed so much. However, I still got one doubt. As you can see, it only assign for my guest network interface. How to make it assign for my LAN network interface too?
