I plan to upgrade to D600 due to noise performance on FX is better than DX and D600 price are much more cheaper than D610, while there is not much different on the feature between D600 and D610.

I mean if using same lens, 24-70 f.28, compare the photo shoot by D600 and D7000 at ISO1600, S100 F2.8, D600 deliver sharper image. The quality variance between D600 and D7000 look more obvious when ISO3200.

Is the difference really that big? If they're both using the same lens then I think sharpness would be equal right? Since... same lens 

I've used my D7000 at ISO3200 countless of times and I have to say they're quite good actually, or like Silverfire mentioned, maybe you didn't nail the focus? Or maybe you need a higher SS due to the crop sensor? 

I always shoot at ISO 6400.. The noise is acceptable, at least for me

i did that as well...in term of noise performance i think both are very good already.
but the most impact i have is the focus points allocation in the D600 compare to D7000. the sensor is so big yet all focus points squeeze in the middle.

Then in such cases, it is safe to say better avoid it?? How do you guys feel about the AF-D 80-200mm?? Im quite on a tight budget or the Tamron 70-200mm VC (Import) set is better?? Mind sharing your opinions?? I would actually get a Nikon 70-200mm VRII but that just cost way too much for me XD.. haha

Plus have to take into account that tamron has field curvature issues, testing using a flat subject will definitely give the advantage to the 17-55.

Not sure d5300 has built in focus motor. If no pls make sure ur tammy has focus motor else it will become manual focus lens

Don't worry, you will get the hang of it quickly. When I moved on from D90 --> D700, it was pretty quick within the day itself. D700 --> D800 even easier

D90 got live view etc and the menu is different already, i touch D80 before the menu already almost same with D800... D70s menu looks like window 95 compare with window vista (D90) and window 8 (D800) learning curve
