QUOTE(mingyuyu @ Oct 7 2013, 12:25 PM) I tried the same thing before, but didn't work  it even introduced a few more little specks of dust. Doesn't affect IQ of course, but when using large aperture lenses, the dots really become obvious when you are not in focus. same as my 60D body , i think hardly be avoid , unless u keep 24/7 in drybox don say view finder , Lens also can enter dust hehe for some sealing lens As long as it doesnt effect my picture , then i will just skip it RM200 can save for other purpose le hehe This post has been edited by chongkiatz: Oct 7 2013, 01:13 PM

QUOTE(PF T.J. @ Oct 15 2013, 09:00 PM) Corrected You get a much better chance of saving a photo if you shoot in RAW You'd be amazed at what you can do with a RAW file, should try it out once you get your DSLR I only shoot in RAW even though the files are large and slows down my PC abit haha Same here, u can recover shadow , highlight very well in RAW file, black point white point and almost everything u can have more space to editing hehe

QUOTE(AuraSapphire @ Oct 31 2013, 11:36 PM) Wow, very good price indeed. But kind skeptical about shipping camera lens. Feels like no matter how well it is packaged, theres sure some way it might get screwed up XD. haha So u mean our camera and lenses that ship from japan or thailand will be screw up no matter how well pack?

QUOTE(ongdennis @ Nov 1 2013, 01:32 PM) i bought lens from ebay before. The lens ship from korea n thailand. both arrived nicely. i think at the end it depend to the seller packing skill. always look for those good reputation seller Agree, I been doing online business for 5 year, ship over 300++ parcel, at the end its stil depend on how the seller pack the item, at the first 3 month , I do get complain from customer that item break during postage, but that my fault because not packing well, but experience will make a person growing up, so any ebay or any online seller should be safe to be purchase thru shipping , but cant say any postage will screwed up something. First u must make sure the item wont move around and covered by newspaper, bubble warp or any soft good item, if the item inside the box wont move around, it will be 100% safe.

QUOTE(Koki @ Nov 10 2013, 09:08 PM) Point taken. Another question I'd like to add - There are two versions of the Tamron lens mentioned by bro PF T.J., but do we really need the VC? tamron AF17-50MM F2.8 rm1190 tamron AF17-50MM F2.8 VC rm1580 390 bucks for that Vc still nice to use after i upgrade my 17-50 tamron non vc to canon 17-55mm IS, the IS definitely a plus point. I would say go for it if u got the budget, don save the rm390 end up regret what u get
