i never encounter viewfinder cleaning before , however sensor cleaning in nikon center is rm60 like i asked few days ago...

maybe view finder need to dissemble the body to clean gua, that's why need more cost.  (i not sure, need wait for sifu answer for this, google don't have result one)

still better rm160 for sensor cleaning in "nikon" shop in KLCC 

viewfinder no need to care since it doesn't affect image quality and it is a lot of work like align the prism for viewfinder and etc

sometime the dust is not inside the viewfinder itself but the mirror that reflect light to the viewfinder, try to brush it off at the mirror see how it goes

Hi guys,

I wanna know, how do you guys actually buy lens?? I know I know, its a very retarded question. But I do need your personal opinion on this.

If I go buy a new lens from places such as shop lots or shopping centres/original Nikon shop, LowYat Plaza or etc. How you know it is really new?

For example, fungus doesn't really grow that fast right? And these shops,  do they keep their lens in drybox or anything or do they just like take it off the shelf/display/storeroom which they do not keep in drybox and just sell it to us. I know that it will definitely look perfect on the spot, but what if it is already in the process of growing fungus or the microorganism has already started attacking the lens but cant be seen with the naked eye.

Hypothetically speaking as where we bought the lens on 1st day, then straight away already keep in the drybox, yet it still grow fungus. Then how?

Have any of you face such problems? Because today when I ask a camera shop about warranty, he said even with warranty, they do not cover fungus. Since Malaysia weather is quite humid.

I just want to be a cautious and smart consumer. Well, I think you all know that Malaysian policies are quite different compared to other countries.

Morning. Im in the wedding photography business. Do you guys think upgrading my D700 to D800 worth it?

Ok thanks. I have the budget for the camera only.
Because the most disturbing part is i saw 32gb is only 400 raw photos for D800. I need to upgrade pc again later. D700, 16gb i cant get 1000+ raw photos. Imagine the hard drive i need to store those.
That is gila weh    But D700 is good enough for now. Just that 36mp seems very attractive to me.

Tolerant to shakes? explain please.
