finally figured out that I can use live view to manual focus with the zoom function for the large aperture lens..

and the contrast thing works like cham in focus! however can't recompose much because the depth of field is just too thin, how you guys work with f1.4 or even f1.2? lol @@

To me, it doesn't have to be expensive, or branded. Anything that qualifies as a tripod is ok with me.

No, ISO sensitivity is not calculated in such a way.

For example you have the same lens on both, same shutter at 1/250 and f/2, both at ISO3200, both should produce the same exposed photo.

To be honest I rarely shoot anything above ISO1600 But I do have some very lightly PP-ed ISO5000 from D600.

by the way, advice from me, never send your camera to KLCC nikon shop for service camera.

KLCC, that is not a nikon authorized shop, it is fotokem anyway.

I am using a Nikon D5100, with the AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6G. The D5100 has no built-in AF motor, so the lens won't AF on it. Is there anything which can turn this 70-300mm lens to do AF on my D5100?

I am very bad at manual focus.

^ D600 can't use that if not mistaken. Their viewfinder is similar to D7100 and below, those clip on instead of screw.
