it depends on how far the fungus "eat" the coat.
and not sure it actually visible or not for the affected area.

and 2nd hand lens beside fungus you need to check those motor mechanism got spoil or not etc... like a car...

i rememver the slip for my 70-300 fungus cleaning description is...
"cleaned fungus, have stains "

by the way, the KLCC one slip don't have report detail of my item condition ...hmm...
i basically like got a full report detail of my item where got fixed and where need to take attention, like my D70s i go peek their report paper got list down

but my 24-70 have only "normal service done" on the slip, duno that fungus is minor or major...

by the way, advice from me, never send your camera to KLCC nikon shop for service camera.

KLCC, that is not a nikon authorized shop, it is fotokem anyway.

warranty already end, so will try find 3rd party to clean it, forget where was i read about the cleaning service actually got few service is professional and cheaper too.

for normal travel to 4 season country like korea japan china bla bla bla no problem.
even my nokia n8 phone and D70s can survive from -10 degree something from S.korea.

jsut make sure you dont make your camera expose from cold place to warm place drastically to prevent fog made inside lens, that might lead fungus grow inside lens.

and if camera cant survive that then why nikon camera can be designed from first place from japan? XD
