I'm not saying upgrades are a bad thing, but at least treat models in the upper range with equal or better upgrades also mah.  doh.gif

Canon can release a 6D with wifi built in, while nikon's response is to say "Our D800 customers do not want Wi-Fi"  doh.gif

Sad man, seriously.
*
Nicely put bro happy.gif
The D610 should have wider spread of AF points. Hell, the D600 should already have it in the 1st place tongue.gif

Yes and the D800 is still great. But say when D7200 gets a 36MP sensor, D800 users will get pissed at some point right? Most hobbyist would I think laugh.gif

Lets have a brownie tongue.gif

Hmm, I guess its just a matter of time (probably years) when even the entry-level DSLRs get what we have in the current enthusiast-level cameras laugh.gif
But like you said, if they actually introduce something like this too prematurely haha, many will be pissed haha XD

But I suppose I'm still okay at the moment haha, most of the new features I don't really use also hmm.gif But to others, the lack of certain features will surely be deal-breakers sad.gif

so much complain from sifu, make us the new comer(like myself) feel bad about their investment, and think twice in investing expensive lens.. lol

QUOTE(gunzerdude @ Oct 18 2013, 10:34 AM)
Lol, lenses are fine, it's the bodies that sometimes have problems only. Worry not  laugh.gif
*
gunzerdude sifu is right thumbup.gif
Lenses can practically last for a lifetime if you take good care of it thumbup.gif

Its good to know that manufacturers still make mounts that are suitable for old lenses. Hope it stays that way lol smile.gif

Go for cheaper China made ones like Benro and Sirui. More bang for the buck.

Long time ago, the made in China stuff were very bad. Nowadays got quality.

Proud owner of Sirui P-326 monopod and Sirui K-30x ballhead with Sirui M3204 CF tripod.
Looks fine. The only suspect is if the legs are strong enough when extended. The connection does not look too secure.
+ 1
*
Yay~ SIRUI user here too thumbup.gif
I was looking for a sturdy tripod that's not too heavy for travelling and Yannick recommended me one (forgot the model jor sweat.gif ), used it for a lot of shots, and I'm loving it~

Went for another landscape test for Tamron. Notice the softness at the right corner. Probably this what reviews are all about, or perhaps my aperture is not that narrow enough to focus on it.

More to come, tomorrow back to campus and glued with study table. shakehead.gif
*
Hey I think its actually a great shot there laugh.gif
Only distraction I think is the tree blocking the 2nd building, go chop it down tongue.gif tongue.gif
I don't think I'd notice the softness if you didn't mention it haha laugh.gif
Look forward to more of your photos~

I did move the focus point. But still a bit blurish as compared to f2.2 OR using the center focus.. TT might be my shaky hands or something wrong with my skills.. lol only some photos, mostly is in focus..  cry.gif

I seem to have this problem as well, especially when the subject is not very close. Not sure its because of shake or skill problem sad.gif

Potentially Nikon's answer to Sony A7/A7r? Come on Nikon, don't screw it up like what you did with Nikon 1 system.

If the subject not big enough, the camera may backfocus. Not big enough means, the focus point around same size as the subject, OR it could be you focus on something not enough contrast or which the camera unable to differentiate, it may focus on something else.
Hard to explain, you have to experiment yourself, and see carefully whether it's really focus correctly, you can re-focus to double confirm. For far away, subject, sometimes you can focus on the shirt, rather than the face. Sometimes you focus on the face, the focus went focus on the background.

To better understand your situation, best if you have the sample photo and highlight where is your focus point.
EDIT: If you did focus re-compose, do mention it as well.
If you're using Focus Re-compose in high aperture especially, then it's most likely the problem.

Many thanks for the valuable input man notworthy.gif

Treehoppers (homoptera) are interesting creatures XD

They are small insects often seen on plants and often surrounded by ants too. This is because of mutualistic association. Treehoppers secrete honeydew (not the fruit!) which the ants collect as food; and in return, the ants provide protection to the treehoppers. Interesting.

I'm very interested, but too bad, still sticking to buying either a D800 or maybe this end of the year depending on the difference in price because no budget atm.

But recent buyers of the D600 are soooooo gonna rage.  rclxub.gif
*
D800 is the better pick brows.gif Go for it XD
But do make sure your other accessories and computers are up to the task as well, but I guess it shouldn't be too much of a problem for you la rclxms.gif

Yay, and to think that the D600 was the bargain of the century during its time sad.gif
