It is working, it is a button, just put slightly pressure to press it. But........... if all is touch sensitive, it will be much better.

Mine not working too.The S-pen need click home button hard (same as using hand click)instead of touching Lightly.Any Solutions?

For those (reviewers etc) claiming the S-pen should be able to activate the home button without clicking, I think that's just BS.

The home button is a physical contact button, not a capacitive touch button, so of course you need to press on it physically for the contacts to engage.

I tested the capacitive buttons using the stylus on my Note 2.

1. Note 2 stylus works on Note 3 capacitive buttons
2. Note 3 stylus DOES NOT work on Note 2 capacitive buttons.

Therefore Samsung changed the capacitive sensor on the Note 3 to make it detect the S-pen as well.

I called Samsung regarding this issue. The Samsung guy says the Home button have no capacitive sensors ,only (right)Back and Setting(left) buttons have sensors. He say need Click on home button only can. So Uncle benny , your S pen slightly touching the home button without S-pen clicking like using finger press? Haiz mine n3 have problem??

Mine also cannot.. only the Back and Menu key are responsive to S-pen tab. I read some review said you still have to physically press the home button.

I see note 2 have S-pen shortcut to home button ( press S-pen button and drag from top to botton) .This Note3 dont have any shortcuts to home using S pen.....
