for those suggesting to go to SC for one to one replacement, it doesn't always work that way. problems with the screen or bezel they will just replace the parts for you. unless your unit is really a major issue then maybe yes. reason why it's plasticky it's because they have replaceable parts and they can change it instead of taking your whole unit in and refurbished, repackage, resell.

note2's home button feels more solid than note3. i would say the feeling when pressing it is like s2/note1.
as for the home button replacement, i wonder if they came all together in one single part (home button/bezel/amoled screen). previously my s2 also have problems (home button not registering when pressed) and they changed the whole thing....lost my screen protector in the process. |

QUOTE(yuna1987 @ Oct 3 2013, 11:48 PM) Anyone facing Wi-Fi connection problem? I can connect to wifi with 3 bar connection without dropping, but it just stop receiving data for a few second and resume for a few second and stop again for a few second and so on. It's so annoying! Sometimes i cant even complete the speedtest which will show "network problem error" I have several galaxy phone connect to this router without any problem including a GS4. Any idea why? there is a known issue for galaxy s4 with d-link's router's wifi connection. google "s4 wifi d-link" and see the results. samsung acknowlegde the problem but there was no fix yet. i believe the same thing happened to note 3 too.The symptom i discover after few days is below the wifi icon on notification bar. Below the signal bar which is two arrow up and down, the data stopped when both of the arrow turn into gray colour. It happen very often and it's damn annoying! fyi, I'm using the normal TMnet DSL-2640B D-Link router with 1mbps connection. one of the workaround is to use TKIP cipher instead of AES. however, TKIP is not compatible with 802.11n. |
