Try change the S-Pen tip

where can enable direct input?

was trying to see if mine had the same bug to help you people out, end up ownself kena sekali. now i really want to start cursing.

It's a curse.

When you point at entry part via S-Pen, a while it will pop-up, you just click that pop-up icon to insert.

clearly, screw this BS. gonna factory reset once i get home from work.

The old input method is dead probably due to we enable prediction text. Default is not on, and it is working. I dunno what is direct input that time.

After enable prediction text, the normal handwriting is dead, reset keyboard never help either.

I think no point reset, just wait Samsung release firmware solved it. Unless you never plan to enable prediction text.

The malfunction is cause by once enable prediction text.

Agreed..Mine also white so far so good..no lemon set for me..had brought the fake Note3 cover for temporary use.

bought mine on last Saturday, truly amazed by this phone!
being upgraded from the very first Galaxy S, this is a huge jump for me!
from the size, the screen, the specs and the performance, everything is super perfect!
so far the best part is the battery, after fully charged, it can last me a one whole day of intensive usage, including fb surfing, chatting, downloading apps...by the time i sleep, the battery is still not drained out at 26%...
very satisfied indeed

Not only that. Mine shows "samsung keyboard crashed" after I clicked here and there repeatedly.

It look ok to me. Try snap outdoor will be much sharpen.

let see.. some people face some problem and I want to make it clear..

"Samsung Galaxy Note III was a new release phone, it just release on every country(some country not yet release).. of-course you will face some software problem because not all developer optimize their application for Note III yet, that normal sometime you face like facebook lag, or youtube lag.. because you still using old version application which "NOT YET" optimize for Note III, some force close problem maybe course by Stock ROM, you can think like the ROM still on Beta Phase, because their tester maybe missing some part.. but I believe after report it will fixed it soon..."

Owh.. mine direct input doesn't when I reply here... else where like WhatsApp and other apps it works... Why is it like this?

Oh, that I never face yet.

But after knowing direct input, I prefer using that as it is much easier to switch between handwriting v/s keyboard.

i don't remember enabling anything to do with predictive text because i never liked predictive text to begin with. all i did was try out direct input.

but I don't care, coz I am using SWYPE =)

Then maybe the keyboard really buggy, it show you working at beginning only.

I myself when just on, the normal handwriting is working.

Then I enable prediction text and swipe input, after that I never bother on pen input.

Then I try it as user mention here, it is not working!

All this while I dunno what is direct input. Only later just figure out how to input via direct input.

Ya, just need wait Samsung fixed it.

I also use swipe all the while.
