My 2 cents opinion on the display quality/issues of the XZU vs Note 3. I have both phones now, and the XZU is the LTE version

My previous 3G XZU - I do not faced the display issues as described by Andrewtst and even though I am an old chap, my eyesight is not that poor to see any difference.,Andrewtst set is regrettably very extremely BAD !! I think he got a bad/lemon display set.

Now my current LTE set display comparably is worse than the 3G set - it carries a very heavy yellowish tone and the latest firmware update has improved it but the yellowish tone is still there . Before I updated the firmware I use an app Screen Adjuster to reduce the yellowishness. Geerally overall XZU display quality ( based on the 2 sets I have used) can never match the Note 3 which is overall sharper and colors are brighter/crispier
The firmware update has removed the optimised backlit settings which I think is purposely done by Sony to leave it to be always on ( probably they still couldn't solve the fake hang issue which affects some sets) and generally the display is inconsistent in different lighting conditions - overall I find is worse than the 3G model

On display quality if I rate the Note 3 a score of 9, the XZU will score a 7

My other half has got the XZU 3G version, no issues on display, no yellowish tinge, of course compared to my N3 it loses out a little, the N3 is still brighter and clearer or maybe just more to my preference..but interms of screen real estate, its great.
