You already at that firmware? That is latest firmware for Z Ultra. That firmware is the firmware remove the optimize backlight function.

I have reverted back to 532 firmware from.the latest 257
It is a big joke from Sony with this upgrade which supposedly brings improvement to the display. It intact makes the display worst

1. Brightness adapt to lighting is erratic n most of the time makes display worse. Manually control is preferred

2. Xreality is worse than before. With it n not even selected some YouTube videos appear grainy n blur. Example try checkup marquees lee android videos
At least in 532 version deselecting it gives you back the HD quality but this doesn't work now in 257 version

3. First time facing random reboot n such never occur at all in previous version n my previous 3g unit

4. Keyboard ( all type) sudden freeze midway n again a new experience for me

Sony updates had been disappointing since 475 n I fond all the updates are half baked. Ver 532 though has slight bugs but is still tolerable but not this version 257.
Those who haven't update I advised to stay away

Last time when I own Xperia Z Ultra that time, I do email Gameloft, no reply at all, they just ignore. Hehe...

B.2.257 is now shoing on PC Companion. Still in 2 minds if i should update this or not, as ther'es 2 different camps of opinions. Ugh.

my SBH52, the rounded button i think its faulty already.. if call come in, i click it, it does not pick up the call… long press should show call log, but it does not work at all… sighhh… this is what i call bad build quality..  only a few weeks already faulty.. sending to sc later.

IC, maybe not yet for LTE model..

anyway, anyone knows if XZU gonna get KitKat or not?
