I quite like the feather thin back case but only setback is no opening for the magnetic charging slot. Overall the quality is good.

I received my LTE unit today ( is Spore M1 set) : immediately was very disturbed by the very more obvious yellowish tint in display. Read up at hardwarezone.sg apparently all sets in Spore are like that. My previous non LTE Msian unit has only a slight yellowish tint and it has improved with subsequent firmware upgrades

Upon switching on, the set prompted me to download a firmware upgrade ( about 30 MB) to 14.1.B.1.532 . I cannot recall the exact original firmware which I think was 526
Well, the yellowish tint was still there !!

So I use an app Screen Adjuster and change the Blue settings as recommended at this XDA link. The yellowish tint has reduced considerably but is still slightly more yellowish than my previous M'sian non LTE set

Other than this , the LTE set performance is quite similar to the non LTE set. I rooted it with VRoot and use Titanium Backup to restore back all my stuffs from the external SDcard taken out from my previous non LTE unit

Just did a quick benchmark test just now : AnTuTu 33286  Quadrant : 17849 - these figures are OK and comparable to my previous non LTE set

And the box is rectangular horizontal wise vs vertical wise in the M'sian non LTE set

Guys i just decided to get z ultra instead of note3 yesterday. And i've already got the update notification to. 257.

After reading comments here i'm not sure whether i shud update it or not. Mine is still the 510 version and i did faced the infamous fake hang last night. Incidentally untick the optimized backlight option n the guy at bluecube reset it when he want to change the sim card for lte...

Now already downloaded the. 257 but still unsure whether shud proceed update or not...
