Ultra camera is worse than iPad 3 camera any time. Both without flash. For now, my 920 will be doing all the picture taking. GDR2 update really made the camera shine.

Just enjoy it awesome screen. I still miss it giant size awesome screen!

LOL yeah quite sad when colleague said Sony brand cepat jatuh harga. so meaning to say if want upgrade keep the old phone as vintage or sell at a massive loss, or giveaway for free.

i believe 1-2 years down the road this phablet is still pretty/iconic & there's nothing can deny it's existence. it's simply trendsetting!

Just finished watching PR on XZU. Awesome. Paired with JBL Flip BT speaker even better. Unfortunately, battery kaput after 2.5 hours.

Nothing exaggerated here, I know you love your Z Ultra but no need protecting until like that. The Z Ultra camera is to bad! Even my GEAR watch is given better output which only 1.9MP.

Yes it's exaggerated.. I know u were disappointed with XZU, please move on and stop bashing.. I still can remember how the picture quality of the phones I have in past 3 years, such as S1,htc HD2, desire Z, Note 1, one x etc.. Some of them have inferior camera and some in par with XZU.. Your statement is like XZU is the WORST which is very misleading. It is not the best in camera performance, but also not the worst, just adequate.

That is the problem with your phone choice. I use a lot best camera phone. You use too many HTC and HTC phone camera never good even the latest HTC One.

You shall notice I love take photos, I take a lot with Z and post it, but did you seen I post a lot when I use Z Ultra? Nope right as I find it too bad to post up and sharing or do any comparison.

I means the worst in phone camera I use recently this 3 years not the worst among all.

Some scenario I face during use Z Ultra:
My colleague using S II and she decide I use her phone to snap than Z Ultra because she said she cannot accept the Z Ultra camera is worst than her old S II.

One of my friend using Note II also said how could Sony out such bad quality camera.

My another friend use iPhone 5 when seen my Z Ultra output nearly vomit said OMG is this phone VGA camera? And He encourage me selling it before too late, I do sell it that day.

Z Ultra camera issue:
They is too much filtering at day time snap, all photo like wax look, while too much noise generate at indoor shoot, night shot is completely unusable.

I didn't bashing anything, is you cannot accept when people said something true about your belove thing bad side. If I bashing, then I will said everything bad about Z Ultra, in fact not, as Z Ultra only bad in it camera and stability issue, the rest Z Ultra is still an awesome phablet.

but i still wonder if i made the right choice, esp seeing the 6.2" screen every time i pass by a Sony shop

I believe not, you may check back previous some user report also mention the Z Ultra camera is bad.

By the way congratulate pick up LG G2. I just play it yesterday at Singapore, it is awesome phone with great LCD & Camera.

Looking at your past phones.. Tell me is it your Omnia 2 camera is better than XZU? Or your Google Nexus 1? Seriously, your statement "worst in past 3 years" is exaggerated! No need to compare with iPhone 5, imo iPhone always best in camera in its every release. You said I used a lot of htc, yes you are right, but for your info, I've own almost all flagship phone for htc, samsung, Bb and iPhone. So I'm not biased to htc. In fact this is my first Sony Android phone, I don't find it very very disappointing if I compared to my previous experience with other phones, thus I found some comments posted here are exaggerated and with intention of discrimination.

OMNIA II camera is better than Z Ultra. Nexus one camera is nothing impress but at least it don't have waxing issue.

As I said before even Samsung Galaxy GEAR smart watch which only 1.9MP output better.

For your information, Xperia Z camera is pretty crap in earlier firmware, it is as bad as current Z Ultra. Xperia Z camera only start getting good output after few firmware updates due to heavy complain by users at XDA but still no match with XiaoMi Mi-2s which use same Sony camera.

I would like to conclude that your previous XZU was a lemon unit as yours having rampant issues compared to others.

or does using third party camera app improve picture quality?
