They're probably thinking you're asking about the Xperia Z1 which is LTE.

Sony naming is also crappy...Z, Z1, ZU etc etc.

Even though it's not supposed to happen, they should be trained....but we can't deny it won't happen and its naming convention is pretty close. To add, they even have the same model name in 3G and LTE models (Z, Z Ultra) which further confuse. Even reviewers, sellers put their Z Ultra as LTE in the early models and subsequently only realise the mistake.

Now the Sony Centre retailers are not exactly Sony direct, they are mere dealers. Sony Centres in Penang for example are owned by Charlie Cellular. I would be skeptical if any form of training is accorded to them. I'd be happy to know if they do.

PS. Yea I know officially there's no ZU but Z Ultra, I'm just lazy to type, I'm sure everyone here would understand me when I put ZU

And when we use the earphone, is there a mic that's part of the earphone cable? Or do we have to speak to the mic on SBH52?

I sometimes ride a bike and been looking for a bluetooth solution. Looks like the best option now is still to get SW2 + any bluetooth headset and both connected to the phone. While riding, any incoming calls can be answered by pressing the button on the SW2 which would trigger the bt headset already on my ear. Pretty cool considering I am able to see who's calling on SW2 as well.......but all these comes with quite a pricetag

Only thing I need which the SBH52 cannot do is not having the mic at the earphone cable. Even clipping the SBH52 near my chest area would make it impossible for the other party to hear me due to the wind hitting on it whilst riding. If it's along the earphone cable, I can route it inside my helmet out of the wind's way.

Bro, can the GEAR be used as a trigger to accept incoming calls like the SW2? Meaning phone in the pocket/bag, bt headset on ear, press on watch to answer calls instead of pressing on the phone or headset?
