QUOTE(mzack1104 @ Oct 4 2013, 03:24 PM) Spore is LTE model. RM2299 in Malaysia is non LTE.Infact nowadays not worth buying any smartphone from Spore as for all common brands Samsung, HTC, Sony n LG after conversion rm200-300 more expensive for those high end specs phones. Our weaker currency plus compulsory 7% GST contribute to the higher prices This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 4 2013, 03:32 PM |

QUOTE(thatisazam @ Oct 4 2013, 04:37 PM) both auto brightness settings and optimized backlight settings used the light sensor, disabling one of them will caused somewhat instability. but somehow proximity sensor module have behaved completely insane judging from logcat when the phone getting calls etc. I never have SOD in all the firmware i am on including the LTE 510 firmwareSOD happens when the backlight failed to turn off when the screen goes off or failed to start back the backlight after trying to turn back on. during SOD, try taking a screenshot, u'll hear the click. means everything else's fine but display failed to show up my best guess is the firmware for C6802 is a wee bit buggy or there's an issue while manufacturing the phone. as of me, it's most likely firmware because on .532 rom for C6806, i was having 0 problems. too bad i din get the chance to keep the ftf coz i thought i was using C6802 rom when i wanted to switch to Malaysia's ROM instead of taiwan's. i only faced fake hang issues on all non LTE 510 firmware LTE 510 n non lte 532 HK firmware perfect with no fake hang This post has been edited by benny888: Oct 4 2013, 04:45 PM |

QUOTE(rayzrblade @ Oct 5 2013, 07:17 PM) if I'm not wrong. Correct. Even stuff I send to Sabah n Sarawak ( big towns) the recipient gets it the next day.pos laju motto is Dijamin sampai esok. I send parcel from kl to penang take only 1 day. For past 7 years using poslaju only one case 2 days as the truck broke down. Excellent service I must say. You have every right to complain if it takes more than a day in Peninsular Malaysia |

QUOTE(dcsuave05 @ Oct 6 2013, 08:44 AM) Just want your opinion if anyone upgrade to zu from note 2? How do find the size and portability? :-) Only you can answer this yourself. Our taste could be vastly different from yours. Go to the shop and have a feel of it yourselfAs for me I am VERY , VERY comfortable using it - it fits perfectly well in all my long pants and 3/4 shorts side pockets . Pocketability is a non issue for me. For those younger gen that likes to wear tight fit jeans , it could pose a problem pocketting it Some people say is too big n ridiculous to be used as a phone and I have absolutely no qualms using it as a phone . Again this is your own personal choice |

True the camera in this XZU is nothing great but as I am not into such details n I can accept it. I used the shots mainly for sharing in Facebook n among friends /family members. It serves it purpose for me. No one has commented yet how poor are the shots yet. As long as they turn out clear n not blurry is fine with me.
Anyway Andrewtst had recommended to use Lenovo camera app n since than had been using this app instead of default camera app. |

I recieved the Brando 4500 mAh Power Jacket today. I placed the order on 24 Sep and it was air out on 26 Sep from HK
Purchase from : http://shop.brando.com/Power-Jacket-for-So...0c1591d003.html You can charge the phone with the Jacket on and/or the power jacket separately with the phone attached. Press the back switch to enabled charging of phone only and Press it again to charge just the Power Jacket. You are advised not to charge phone at same time while charging the power jacket. There is a 4 signal LED behind showing the power level of the Power Jacket. A kickstand is also included. The inside of the Power Jacket is made of soft felt material and will protect well the back of the phone. The Power Jacket clips in well and putting in and taking it out is a breeze. This add on battery pack will be good for those long trips on bus, airplane and while waiting for the flight. It is convenient and not necessary to bring along a powerpack to charge the phone. The Power Jacket is rated 4500 mAh ( no idea yet how accurate this is but even at 70% efficiency, you will still get 3150 mAh which is equivalent to essentially another battery for the phone) The overall construction of this powerjacket is good and looks strong. Attaching it to the phone gives you an added width up to 11mm from the original 6.5 mm Package : Actual pics of the unit, you can refer to the Brando website I have posted above |

An update of the Brando 4500mAh power jacket : the jacket charges the phone at an amazing 40% / hour through the magnetic dock points.
Even with phone being used I noted the charging is faster than the battery being used up. |

QUOTE(un_id @ Oct 12 2013, 09:30 AM) Got it.. Thanks.. Anyway, how thick/bulky is your XZU coupled with the power jacket? Double the ori thickness of XZU, or more than double? And does it significantly added weight to it? Still pocketable? Sorry for too many questions. The power jacket is quite slim n I did mentioned width with it attached on phone is 11mm vs 6.5mm of original phoneWeight of the jacket slightly under 100gm vs 210gm of phone As I have deep side pockets pocketability is never an issue at all Normal usage I don't think you will want to carry attached onto phone . Just attached it when you need to use it |
