Why you guys said its not IPS? I checked couple of sites and even Acer Malaysia, confirmed its IPS screen.

IPS = In Plane Switching...

The problem is we can't confirm that it's IPS, you know sometimes even the official website also can't be trusted tongue.gif Even their official video just says "Screen is AWEESSSOOOMMEE" but didn't mention it's IPS.

checking IPS or not is easy, just install hwinfo, u can check the panel with the program.

Curious, so this tablet is basically the same as any PC running Windows 8.1 right? Can do everything a normal desktop/laptop PC capable to do such as installing programs etc right?

not only its IPS - it states that the touch screen layer is sticks to the IPS screen. Sounds one of the LG display.
