Finalizing my Windows 8.1 1GB review using the SNS Joi8, I can tell you that 1GB RAM is SURPRISINGLY usable for Windows, you just need to put up with a slight wait times when the system pages around the swap file when you switch around apps and other things.

BUT...

Well.. from the initial previews the 8W seems to have 32GB of onboard storage, which is good, because the 16GB of the Joi8 is causing a LOT of headache. Due to the fact that.

- Free space on init boot - 4.5GB
- Free space after Office 365 installation (which installs EVERYTHING, unless you hack the install config file) - 2.5GB
- Free space after Steam - 1.8GB (!)

Then remember that.. in that 1.8GB Windows will use it to
- Install any store apps (because store apps can't be properly installed to SD card right now)
- Temp files created by programs
- Temps files for installing Windows Update purposes

16GB Storagee was VERY VERY bad!! tongue.gif

from my usage, i can see that touch screen and the ips led screen at all 4 corner of the screen can damage if you touch harder abit, due to this is economic product and not having something like corning gorilla glass.

Guys,

Anyone tried micro HDMI out? I wonder why there is no scaling option. Just received my micro HDMI cable from Taobao. It look so small on my LCD TV. I had to use Zoom2 setting on my Panasonic FHD TV. Even that wouldnt fill the screen.

Found a solution to this although not perfect.

Pull the charm bar, goto Setting>Display. Extending the display allow me to run FHD on secondary display and all I need is to pull the movie over and maximize it. Bad cause no option to make changes once I maximize it on the secondary display. Need to download the mouse app someone posted earlier.

I ve tried it, very hard to setup with touch, especially extending to secondary display with just tiuch input.

Better use DLNA, no cable needed
