I'm a TIME broadband subscriber and I just bought TL-WDR4300 but there is no DSL light when I connect the WAN (RJ45) cable to the new router. I moved back the WAN cable to my old router (cisco wag120n) and it's working perfectly. Do I need to set the vpi/vci on the router 1st before I plug in the WAN cable? Btw my cisco router setting is pppoe with vpi and vci setting but there's no option to set the vpi/vci in the tplink router. I even tried to use auto detect the WAN link in the tplink router but it's showing undetected.
Really need help here. Anyone has any idea?

cisco wag120n is a modem/router, there is no RJ45 WAN port. The wan connection is RJ11 phone line right? Where do you connect RJ11 phone line to new TPlink? TL-WDR4300 is router only.. not a modem.
I not familiar with time broadband, but by the hardware you describing, it's 2 different thing.

ops sorry my bad. its rj11, not rj45. the TL-WDR4300 has rj11 port so i connect the rj11 cable to that port. http://content.hwigroup.net/images/product...k_tlwdr4300.jpgerm.. i thought TL-WDR4300 is modem + router. because there's a dial with username/passwd function in the router. hopefully i didn't buy a wrong type of router

By using bridge mode, you should be able to use tplink as a router. You will need to put username/password inside tplink. This should be the best solution since the tplink will do all the hard work (natting, wifi and so on).. This is by assuming tplink is better than ur linksys. You just need to change from pppoe to brigde mode in linksys. Connect RJ45 wan on tplink to any lan port of linksys. Than put username/password inside tplink.
